Membership brings independent broadcast delivery data to the standards work shaping agentic advertising, in a category that remains largely unrepresented.
Riga, 18 August 2026
Spotwise, the agentic operating system for broadcast media, today announced it has joined the Agentic Advertising Organization (AAO), adding independent, real-time radio, TV and podcast data to the industry effort building open standards for agentic advertising. The membership follows the launch of Spotwise aOS in July.
Spotwise monitors advertising across more than 14 countries, detecting ads as they air rather than relying on station-reported logs. That produces an independent record of what actually ran, on which station, at what time and at what estimated cost, including live reads and sponsorships that often never appear as discrete spots in a station's traffic system.
"Agentic buying only works if the agent can see the whole market," said Roberts Ernests Levics, CEO and co-founder of Spotwise. "Broadcast is still largely unrepresented in the standards being built today, and there is no reliable way to report back what actually aired. We joined the AAO to help close that gap with observed data from real markets rather than self-reported logs."
In an agentic workflow, that record earns its place at both ends of a campaign. Before a buy, an agent working against a brief needs to know what is already running in the category, which audiences competitors are reaching, what their creatives actually say and what the airtime costs. After a buy, it needs to know what aired. Spotwise supplies both from the same source, which lets it sit behind a research agent, a planning agent or a post-campaign reporting agent rather than serving a single step in isolation.
For that to work through an open protocol, broadcast has to be expressible in one. The company is joining the broadcast working group, where current work covers radio and out-of-home measurement requirements, and is bringing operational detail rather than position: what an as-run record actually contains, where station-declared and independently observed delivery diverge, how by-demo delivery can be expressed across markets that measure audiences on different panels and different cadences, and how a creative can be identified in markets that have no creative registry at all.
The planning surface extends further. Spotwise is developing contextual targeting across radio, TV and podcast, using transcripts of what is being broadcast so that an ad can be matched to the subject under discussion. Contextual signals of this kind are already defined for digital content within the current standards. Broadcast has no counterpart, which leaves a buying agent unable to express what an audience is actually listening to or watching around the ad.
About Spotwise
Spotwise is an agentic operating system for broadcast media. It monitors advertising across radio, TV and podcast in more than 14 countries and runs the work that follows: market research, competitive analytics and share of voice, campaign planning and pricing, delivery verification, pitch preparation and prospecting, with AI agents doing in minutes what a media team does by hand.
One example: a station's sales team can see every advertiser active in a category across the market, including those currently spending with competitors, and arrive at the pitch already holding that brand's schedule, creative and estimated spend.
