• The Default Choice: Bolt. In Latvia, Bolt is the operating system of the city. It’s fast, cheap, and reliable. A ride from Old Town to the ATTA Centre is usually €6–€9.
• The "Taxi" Warning: If you see a random, unbranded car with a yellow "TAXI" sign on the roof—ignore it. They often target foreigners with inflated rates. Stick to the app, or look for Red Cab / Baltic Taxi fleets.
• The Hard "No": Walking to the Venue. I love walking in Riga, but do not try to walk from Old Town to the ATTA Centre. It is 4.5km along a loud highway.

2. Outside Riga: The Freedom Option (Carsharing & The Parking Hack) If you want to visit Jurmala (our famous beach town) or Sigulda (Switzerland of Latvia), a Bolt taxi will get expensive fast. This is where you level up.

🚨 The Golden Rule of City Parking: If you park elsewhere in the city, parking is usually free in municipal zones (Rīgas Satiksme) for carshares. BUT it is NOT free in private lots (like EuroPark). Look at the signs.
