Own the agentic core of the product: the multi-step AI workflows, tool use, and automations that turn raw broadcast data into commercial action.
Riga / hybrid (remote in Europe possible) · Full-time · €3,000 – €6,500 gross / month
Spotwise is the agentic operating system for broadcast media, and one of Europe's fastest-growing adtech startups. We give radio, TV, and podcast networks real-time advertising intelligence and autonomous commercial workflows, and in under 18 months we've grown to broadcasters across 14+ countries with double-digit month-on-month growth. We're venture-backed by 500 Global and top Baltic funds including Outlast and BADideas.fund.
Broadcasters use Spotwise to see exactly what is running across their market in real time, find the advertisers they're missing, and automate the commercial work that used to eat their week. Our founders have taken the product into some of the largest media groups in the world, and we're heading into our next funding round.
We're hiring a Software Engineer to make the agentic core of that product significantly better.
We're not looking for another developer
We’re looking for someone who wants to build agents that already do real work.
Plenty of companies will tell you to imagine a future where autonomous agents run the business. At Spotwise, they already do. Our agents monitor broadcast advertising in real time, find the advertisers a station is missing, score them, draft the outreach, and hand the sales team a day's work before anyone opens a laptop. That's not a roadmap. It's in production, in front of paying customers, today.
What you'll build
You'll own meaningful parts of the agentic OS: the multi-step AI workflows, tool use, and automations that turn raw broadcast data into commercial action. That means real engineering problems, not prompt tweaking. Reliability at scale, sane architecture, pipelines that don't fall over, and agents that behave predictably when the data is messy and the customer is a national broadcaster.
- Build and extend agentic systems that run reliably in production.
- Ship features end to end, from data and backend through to working product.
- Integrate models into production systems and improve the pipelines that feed them.
- Use AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Cursor) fluently, with strong review and testing discipline.
- Make sound cloud and architecture decisions: scalability, security, cost, observability.
- Shape technical direction alongside the founders and help set engineering practices as the team grows.

What we're looking for
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus at least 3 years building production-grade systems.
- Strong software engineering skills in modern languages (TypeScript, Python, or similar) with production-grade systems behind you.
- Hands-on experience building agentic systems: AI agents, multi-step workflows, tool use, or automations.
- Experience integrating LLMs into real applications, not just calling an API once.
- Fluency with the modern AI coding agents — you use them daily and get real leverage from them.
- Solid data engineering and backend architecture: APIs, databases, distributed or event-driven systems.
- Hands-on cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps practices.
- Background in AI and data preferred.
- B2B SaaS experience is a plus.
- Fluent English, written and verbal.
Location
Based in Riga, hybrid. For the right person, remote within Europe can also work.
Compensation
€3,000 to €6,500 gross per month, depending on experience.
